One of the pillars of my faith in Jesus rests solely on a verse in the Bible from Isaiah which reads, "the wolf also shall dwell with the lamb... and a little child shall lead them." I have chosen both a literal and fantastical interpretation of the verse to make the leap that this infers there are animals in heaven, which obviously means all dogs (and other beloved pet brethren) go to heaven.

With this singular theory and biblical exegesis, I am embracing the confidence of a previously homeschooled freshman ministry student who thinks they are smarter than the professor who has devoted their life to theological studies. I simply will not accept any other reality, because my faith hinges on arriving at the pearly gates and seeing every animal I have ever loved waiting for me.

So yeah, all dogs go to heaven, you have my word. And if you purchase this sticker, all the proceeds are being donated to the SPCA (see our last post for why). It’s a great cause, because here at Prairie Sundays, we are proud advocates for the heavenly occupation of canines.
