Old Enough for Fairytales

Are y’all ready for something cute? This is the dedication in the book The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe:

“My Dear Lucy, I wrote this story for you, but when I began it I had not realized that girls grow quicker than books. As a result you are already too old for fairy tales, and by the time it is printed and bound you will be older still. But some day you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again. You can then take it down from some upper shelf, dust it, and tell me what you think of it. I shall probably be too deaf to hear, and too old to understand a word you say but I shall still be your affectionate Godfather, C.S Lewis.”

I love this quote, because it rings so true. I loved fairytales when I was little, but at some point decided I was too old and mature for them. When I started University and began reading such incredible old literature, I was reminded of my love for fantastical tales and stories. I got to rediscover fairytales again, and it’s been the best!

S T I C K E R :
This sticker is glossy, long-lasting, waterproof and UV ray resistant; all within reason, of course :) The backing is easy to peel off and it is perfect for decorating your phone, laptop, water bottle, notebooks, and more!

S H I P P I N G :
Canada's postal service, Canada Post, is currently on strike. While they will continue operations during the strike, delivery times will be significantly impacted. Canada Post is the only method to ship Standard Lettermail, so we will continue to use them, but cannot guarantee a delivery date. Standard Lettermail does not come with tracking information. We typically say items will arrive in 2-3 weeks, but with the strike, we expect that time to increase.
 
Unfortunately we will not be able to replace or refund any orders placed with Standard Lettermail during this time. As a small business we always do our best, but the current situation is out of our control, so order with Standard Lettermail shipping at your own risk. 

If you would like guaranteed delivery, we have added an Express Shipping option. While it is costly, during the Canada Post strike it is the cheapest option for making sure items get to you in a timely manner. Packages will be sent with UPS, a courier that is operating as per usual, and will include tracking information. 

E X T R A S :
One of the missions of our shop is to give back. Each item offers an option to add on our charity sticker, All Dogs Go to Heaven, for an additional $3.00. 100% of the proceeds from this charity sticker are donated to the SPCA, and it is the same high quality as our other stickers.
